This is the first large project that I am attempting. This took me a day and a half to do.</div><div> </div><div> This was a gift from my very dear friend Rae Ann from Ca . so I am hoping for a very good finish to this. I am enjoying it very much. I am stitchingit with Carrie Creation hand dye floss. I never used hand dyed floss before, and I really like it. Who knows maybe out with DMC. The hand dyed floss works very nicely.</div><div> </div><div> I am hoping to have this done before Christmas. So keep your fingers crossed for me that I will make it in time. I do fight with the fabric alot as I do not use scroll or Q-snaps, I seem to fight with them more. Please feel free to leave comments.</div><div> </div><div> Thanks Rae Ann for such a lovely gift. hope you will be pleased as much as me when it is finished. You truly are a dear friend. With the holidays around the corner and working full time, there just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to complete everything I'd like too. I have so many UFO's that need to be completed and I work on them off and on when time permits. I've been trying to catch up with Rae on a hand pieced 9-patch quilt top we started some months back. She got so far ahead of me, that I asked her to stop working on her's until I caught up with her! I'm almost there and now in the meantime, she's completed a few cross stitch items. When she gets something on her mind she wants to do, it's full steam ahead for her. Next year I'll have more time to devote to my crafts, as I will only be working part time. I'm looking forward to that, but for now I'll just doodle along, sooner or later something will be completed.</div>Ruthhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13324228471446429940noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3731344990646354041.post-9131063440627843812009-12-01T08:13:00.000-08:002009-12-01T08:20:43.820-08:00Sock It To Me Santa<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgenr_iIXTIDQuEwkoTTquftn9Y9lCTcYevpR-hMHFc2LJwfNw-mf6daCU7GkDOgSzauZDW7e5B2gtUAuGCUgWHj1pVd2ty4_EzA6a_BaEMD33ts3Q7SjG7Sd5O6Veqc11XRtduj86p8IU/s1600/Ruths+Sock+It+To+Me+1.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 320px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5410301950324119538" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgenr_iIXTIDQuEwkoTTquftn9Y9lCTcYevpR-hMHFc2LJwfNw-mf6daCU7GkDOgSzauZDW7e5B2gtUAuGCUgWHj1pVd2ty4_EzA6a_BaEMD33ts3Q7SjG7Sd5O6Veqc11XRtduj86p8IU/s320/Ruths+Sock+It+To+Me+1.JPG" /></a> <div>The mail carrier delivered a package from Susan Marie yesterday!
